Small
With an enrollment of 25 students and a student teacher ratio of 6:1, Peachtown offers a highly individualized educational program. Based in a former home, our campus is warm and inviting. Our students and teachers form a tight-knit and supportive community that, combined with a multi-age approach, encourages experiential learning, mutual respect, and a sense of accountability.
Intelligent
Our curriculum is carefully crafted to be holistic and multidimensional with a focus on developmentally appropriate activities. We adhere to a no-testing policy and firmly believe that true learning is demonstrated in a multitude of ways. We are pleased to offer French and Spanish courses at all grade levels in addition to professional Art and Music instruction.
Connected
Located on the Wells College campus, in the quaint village of Aurora, we have access to many wonderful opportunities that belie our rural setting. Primary students make weekly trips to the public library, and regular swim and gym classes are held in the Wells College athletic center. Of course, our proximity to the campus art gallery, theater, and lecture halls creates opportunities for extended learning and collaboration in addition to our regular program.
Affordable
We believe that a great education should be affordable and accessible. Our tuition remains affordable at $6,750 per academic year and our students come from a wide range of socio-economic backgrounds, with up to 60% of families receiving need-based scholarships. We are pleased to offer various interest-free payment plans for our families and have free busing for students who qualify based on home address. We have a four day school week, with classes in session from Monday through Thursday. After school care is also provided for a nominal fee.
