We believe that character development and emotional literacy are worthy educational goals.  One of the primary classroom's weekly rituals is writing Thank You Thursday cards throughout the year.  Students practice their writing skills, the topics are self-driven, and, as you might imagine, the outcomes are very sweet.

Wendy and Peter Pan

We are so proud of our Peachtown Players!  Last week's excellent performance was the result of a lot of hard work and dedication.  Thanks go to our patient director (and Upper Classroom teacher) Bird Cramer, and to all of the teachers, parents, and volunteers who helped to make our production a success!

If you'd like to see more photos from our production, please visit our Peachtown Facebook page.

Armor, Weapons, and the Medieval Knight

We were all really excited to host Scott Rodlin and Becca Cooper of Paragon Jousting for a wonderfully educational presentation this morning.  Scott spoke at length about the life and goals of a knight, all while suiting up for "battle" and answering the slew of questions that came his way.  It was a lot of fun and very memorable.

Post-Impressionist Space Art

What do you get when you combine recycled canvases and a bunch of students inspired by Vincent van Gogh and the Hubble Space Telescope?  Marilyn's Art class has been hard at work, searching for the answer.
