Now that Wells College is closed, are you also closing?
No way! We are an independently chartered elementary school and have no official affiliation with Wells College. We have leased our building from Wells since 1992 and over the years we have developed a deep relationship with the campus, staff, and students. We are very sad about the loss of this historic institution, but their closure will not impact our ability to continue our program.
Are you still accepting new students?
Yes! We continue to operate as usual and have a rolling admissions policy. Our ability to enroll new students is based on our current enrollment and spacing constraints. We currently have openings at most grade levels.
Why can't Wells donate or sell the building to you?
In theory, because we are an educational non-profit, they could do either of these things, but legal and financial constraints are currently making these outcomes seem unlikely if not impossible.
