Student use of technology in the
classroom is, for the most part, utilized in the Upper Level classroom. Laptop computers and printers are available
to all students. Students are encouraged
to use a variety of sources for research and are well versed in appropriate use
of internet sources. Power point, film and digital photography are all utilized
for student presentations. To prepare
for high school, the goal of each 8th grade graduate is to type a
minimum of 40 wpm and to be fully conversant with managing files and documents.
