Our recent outing to the Museum of the
Earth was a wonderful
experience. The younger children had a
full tour through all the eras of geologic history (given by Peachtown alum,
Johanna Batman), explored all the hands-on exhibits and enjoyed the “Do
Dinosaurs Poop?” exhibit. The older
students added to their experience as they explored the small, but eclectic art
exhibit with Marilyn, had a dinosaur cartooning class with paleo-artist Richard
Kissel, and a presentation on the different aspects of anthropology and an
overview of the evolution of hominids.
